Dr. Narendar Bhojak

Dr. Narendar Bhojak is Professor at the Green Chemistry Research Centre, Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner. He holds a Ph.D. from Delhi University and has published over 150 research papers, 8 books, and 10 patents. He has supervised 23 Ph.D. and 26 M.Phil. students. He is actively involved in academic councils and has delivered 80+ invited lectures globally. His research focuses on green chemistry and food and drug analysis. He has developed Smart Science Labs using AR/VR and created NAAC and green audit protocols. He also serves as Director of the Bikaner Interdisciplinary Research Consortium (BIRC).

Dr. Subrat Sharma

Dr. Subrat Sharma currently working as Dean Research at the University of Ladkah. Retired as In-Charge Scientist-F, (Ladakh Regional Centre) Climate Change Programme at GBPNIHE, Almora. With over 30 years of experience, he has made significant contributions to climate change research, sustainable development, and environmental policy. He has coordinated national and international projects, authored numerous publications, and served on expert panels including the IPCC and UNFCCC. Dr. Sharma’s work bridges science, policy, and community resilience, positioning him as a leading voice in climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies in the Indian Himalayan Region.

Mr. Irfan Kagzi

Mr. Irfan Kagzi, M.Tech in Environmental Engineering and B.E. in Chemical Engineering, has been serving with the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) since 1996. He has extensive field experience across industrial sectors in environmental compliance. He contributed to hazardous waste management for three years, evaluating TSDF, CHWIF, and co-processing proposals. He served seven years with SEAC, assisting in EIA assessments. As Unit Head, he has overseen key regions including Ankleshwar, Jhagadia, Panoli, Dahej, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar. Currently, he also leads the NCAP project, demonstrating expertise in regulatory enforcement and sustainable environmental governance.

Dr. Gopal Pishe

Dr. Gopal Pishe is a seasoned EHS professional with over 18 years of experience in safety, health, environment, and fire management in the chemical and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Head of EHS for Gujarat Region at Tagros Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd., he holds multiple qualifications including M.Sc. in Chemistry, PG Diplomas in Safety and Environment, and NEBOSH certifications. He specializes in process safety, audits, risk assessment, sustainability, and industrial training. Mr. Pishe is also pursuing a Ph.D. focused on accident investigation in the chemical industry and contributes academically to UPL University.

Prof. A.K. Bhagi

Prof. A.K. Bhagi, Professor at the University of Delhi, is an esteemed academician with over three decades of experience in inorganic and analytical chemistry. He has held key positions including President of the Indian Chemical Society and Principal of DDU College. Renowned for his contributions to research, teaching, and institutional development, Prof. Bhagi has published extensively and guided numerous research scholars. He actively promotes green chemistry, environmental sustainability, and academic excellence through various national and international platforms.

Dr. Astha Pandey

Dr. Astha Pandey is Associate Professor at the School of Forensic Science, National Forensic Sciences University, Gujarat, with over 21 years of experience in toxicology and forensic chemistry. She leads national projects under the Ministries of Home Affairs and Youth Affairs & Sports and has authored over 50 research papers. Dr. Pandey holds several patents and has mentored numerous postgraduate and Ph.D. students. Her expertise spans forensic narcotics, petro-forensics, anti-dope forensics, and explosive analysis, making her a leading authority in forensic science and innovation.

Dr. Bharat Jain

Dr. Bharat Jain is a renowned environmental engineer with over four decades of experience in environmental management, infrastructure planning, and industrial sustainability. A former Chief Engineer at GIDC, he currently serves as Member Secretary at the Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre and leads initiatives on eco-industrial parks and resource efficiency. He has advised national and international bodies, including UNIDO, and contributed to over 25 publications. Dr. Jain holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and has received multiple honors, including the Lifetime Achievement Award for Environment Protection and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from SVNIT, Surat.

Dr. R. Narayanan

Dr. R. Narayanan is a former OPCW official with over 37 years of experience in chemical safety, security, and international inspections. He currently serves as Advisor to the Indian Chemical Council and oversees the implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention in India. A recipient of recognition during OPCW’s Nobel Peace Prize in 2013, he has worked globally with governments and industries, conducted audits, and promoted chemical safety. He is also a subject matter expert, lecturer, and advocate for sustainability and peaceful applications of chemistry.

Dr. Sanjay P. Gandhi

Dr. Sanjay P. Gandhi is Assistant Vice President at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. with over 15 years of experience in EHSF, legal compliance, and chemical safety. A Ph.D. in Environmental Process Engineering, he chairs the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Baroda Region, and contributes to academic and industrial advisory roles. Recognized for his leadership in sustainability, circular economy projects, and process safety, he has published technical papers, led national seminars, and earned accolades including the Environmental Excellence Award (HSFEA-2023). Dr. Gandhi is also a PESO-certified competent person under SMPV Rules.

Mr. Kaushik B. Patel

Mr. Kaushik B. Patel is an entrepreneur and Director at Glaceon Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., with over 25 years of expertise in chemical and environmental management. He holds an MBA in Finance, a degree in Chemical Engineering, and postgraduate qualifications in industrial safety, ecology, and environment. His professional journey includes leadership roles at Firmenich Aromatics, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, Styrolution ABS, and Gulbrandsen Chemicals. He has worked in India and abroad, including a key assignment with the National Petrochemicals Company, Iran. Mr. Patel’s core strengths lie in integrating engineering, safety, and sustainability within strategic industrial operations.

Dr. Kalpana Gopalakrishnan

Dr. Kalpana Gopalakrishnan is a retired Assistant Vice President from Reliance Industries Ltd., with over three decades of R&D experience in coordination chemistry, nanomaterials, catalysis, and environmental solutions. She has developed multiple patented technologies and processes in industrial chemistry, including metal recovery, catalyst regeneration, and sulfur-based fertilizers. With over 165 technical reports, 18 research publications, and 10 granted patents (including US and EU), she has led impactful projects from lab to commercialization. A recipient of prestigious awards and a certified ISO auditor, she is also recognized for mentoring researchers and advancing sustainable innovations in the chemical and petrochemical sectors.

Dr. Ramesh Kataria

Dr. Ramesh Kataria is Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Centre for Advanced Studies in Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh. His research focuses on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), supramolecular chemistry, and advanced materials for environmental sensing and remediation. With over 20 years of academic and research experience, he has supervised numerous Ph.D. and postgraduate students and published extensively in reputed international journals. A recipient of several national and international awards, Dr. Kataria is also actively engaged in science outreach, inclusive education, and academic policy initiatives for persons with disabilities.
